Angle Agency Consumer Privacy Statement

Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) generally prohibits any financial institution, directly or through its affiliates, from sharing nonpublic personal information about you with a non-affiliated third party unless the institution provides you with a notice of its privacy policies and practices, such as the type of information that it collects about you and the categories of persons or entities to whom it may be disclosed. In compliance with the GLBA, we are providing you with this document, which notifies you of the privacy policies and practices of Angle Agency.
Information we may collect about you:
Information we receive from you (or is provided to us on your behalf) on applications and other forms, such as your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, etc.
Information about your transactions with our agency such as your payment history and claims information.
Information from consumer reporting agencies, public records and data collection agencies, such as your obligations with others and your creditworthiness.
Health information will be collected as we deem appropriate to determine eligibility for coverage, to process claims, to prevent fraud, and as authorized by you, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Information we may disclose about you: We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. For example, we may share any or all of your information with companies we are appointed with by the insurance commissioners office to do business. We may share information about you to your lender. When we make this type of disclosure it is done in order to deliver products and services to you and to provide customer service or administer your account.
Disclosures permitted by law: Angle Agency may disclose all of the nonpublic personal information described above, as permitted by law. We may disclose information in response to requests from law enforcement agencies or State insurance authorities, claims adjusters, lenders, or title companies to service your account. We do not sell customer lists or any personal information regarding our present or former customers.
How we protect your information: We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal financial information. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you.
Modifications to our Privacy Policy: We reserve the right to change our privacy policy in the future. We will provide you with a revised privacy notice before we do that.
